The Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix: A Fantasy Adventure with a Twist
Nakaba Suzuki's Seven Deadly Sins, or Nanatsu No Taizi, is about seven Britannian warriors who were wrongfully accused of plotting to overthrow the Liones Kingdom. The warriors were disbanded as a result of this accusation, and they dispersed throughout the lands. The manga and anime Seven Deadly Sins have excellent approval fan ratings and have been successful after their release. Meliodas and Elizabeth's stories, combined with Bans and Elaine and some of the Ten Commandments, give off an exquisiteness of more splendid storytelling arts to come. Unfortunately, more than the breathtaking storyline must entice some anime fans to see it through to the end. Because of the many fast-paced action sequences in The Seven Deadly Sins, a poor animation would do no good.

When the Kingdom is in turmoil due to Bartra's illness, Elizabeth seeks out the seven deadly sins to ask for their help in removing the corrupted Holy Knights from Liones.

Whatever her crime was has yet to be revealed although she may not even have one. Note that there are currently only 5 side story chapters detailing the crimes of the sins and if there is another it would probably be Merlin's. In Ch 182 King Bartra of Liones whose prophetic powers have shown him the sins will be the guardians of Liones meets Merlin for the first time who has already selected a band of seven for the task including herself and the new holy knight of Liones, Meliodas. Perhaps he has simply never heard of her trial but it somewhat seems she signs on just to help fulfill the prophecy.
